Disability Sports Northern Territory was established in October 2019, thanks to the Sport Service Provider Grant Funding from the Northern Territory Government, as a key business unit of Disability Sports Australia.

Disability Sports Northern Territory helps Territorians with disability be more active more often. Promoting sport and active recreation, Disability Sports Northern Territory aim to connect Territorians with disabilities to local active adaptive opportunities through programs like the National Referral Hub and Activate Inclusion Sports Days. We work closely with the NT Peak Sporting Bodies and Community Sports Officers to facilitate more accessible pathways and programs across Territory.

Domestic Violence Legal Service is a free service for people experiencing or a risk of domestic and family violence in the Darwin and Greater Darwin Region.

DonateLife NT coordinates all organ and tissue donation activities across the Northern Territory.

DonateLife NT activities include:

– Raising awareness about organ and tissue donation
– Encouraging discussion about donation and registration on the Australian Organ Donor Register (AODR)
– Educating health professionals about the donation process
– Offering care and support to donor families

Support and information is available for people with Down Syndrome, their families and carers. Community education workshops promote awareness, resources and skills development to students, families schools carers and health professionals in relation to the health and wellbeing of people who have Down Syndrome.

DASA offers a range of services to provide rehabilitation from misuse or dependency on alcohol and other drugs, and education to the broader community.

Early Childhood Australia (ECA) is a non-profit organisation that promotes and works towards what is best for children and the Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) sector.

ince 1938, ECA’s main focus has been advocacy, influencing many significant issues relevant to the care, wellbeing and education of young children in Australia.

We develop projects in the sector and produce a variety of resources by way of subscription-based publications for our members and the broader sector which includes early childhood educators, services, academics and students. Our vision is that every young child is thriving and learning.

East Arnhem Regional Council was formed in under the Local Government Act (NT) 2008 to provide core Local Government Services to nine remote communities of Arnhem Land: Milingimbi, Ramingining, Galiwin’ku, Gapuwiyak, Yirrkala, Gunyangara, Umbakumba, Angurugu and Milyakburra.

East Arnhem Regional Council is situated in the far north-eastern corner of the Northern Territory mainland covering a land mass of approximately 33,359km2. The Council comprises nine major remote communities, many homelands and outstations commercial enterprises such as Tourism, two mining leases and pastoral properties scattered throughout the Council area.

Enable Opportunities primarily focus on serving Alice Springs and Greater region for the NDIS funded customers in Supported Independent Living, respite and community participation. We work with people to enable them to live meaningful life and realise their potential. As a registered NDIS provider, we help people maximise their NDIS plans and provide tailored support designed to enable people to really thrive.

The Environment Centre NT (ECNT) is the peak community sector environment organisation in the Northern Territory. We have been working hard to protect the Territory environment since 1983.

A community-based legal service practising in planning and environmental law and providing legal advice & advocacy on public-interest planning & environmental law for individuals and groups. The service also provides education for community groups and engages in law reform.

EqualiTEA is NT Friendship & Supports’ social enterprise providing training, employment and activities for people with disability, to help them get their dream job.

We work with a person, exactly where they are. We work with you to determine your individual readiness for work, your employment goals and then come up with a plan, just for you!

Everymind is a leading Institute dedicated to the prevention of mental ill-health and suicide. We have been delivering successful mental health and suicide prevention programs for over 30 years.

Families and Schools Together (FAST) is a program that focuses on strengthening families by improving their relationships within the family and between families and schools. All families can join a FAST program.

Baby FAST, Kids FAST and Youth FAST operate across various locations in the Northern Territory. Families attend the eight-week program, which involves coming together once a week and intentionally spending time together as a family.

Activities may include sharing a meal and undertaking family activities. Participants also have the opportunity to be involved in Parent Group and Kids Time.

FAST is an evidence based program utilising strengths-based approach and provides training for local community members and agency workers to run the program. Parents are empowered to be the leaders of their families.
