Welcome to Smile-A-Mile Toy Library, based in Bees Creek Northern Territory. We have an extensive range of toys and play equipment for borrowing.

The Toy Library is re-open with NO BOOKINGS NEEDED. Returning and borrowing toys will be available to do during our normal toy library hours. Our SATURDAY monthly opening will remain only via booking an appointment.

Somerville Community Services has been operating in the Northern Territory for over 50 years.  The organisation has a long and rich history of providing community based services to families, individuals and people with disability.

At Somerville we prioritise and advocate for access to resources that assist Territorians to improve their circumstances through our Disability, Housing and Homelessness Services.

St John Ambulance Australia (NT) Inc. (St John NT) is the Territory’s leading provider in emergency medical response and preparedness. We have a mission to save lives and build community resilience to improve the safety and healthcare for all Territorians. We do this by providing a range of services from ambulance services under contract to the Northern Territory Government, coordination of emergency medical responses, event health services and first aid assistance at community and major events through to nationally accredited first aid training, community education and first aid products and equipment.

The St Vincent de Paul Society is a member and volunteer‑based organisation that has been assisting people experiencing disadvantage and hardship in the Territory since 1949.

The StandBy program is delivered by Youturn Limited in the Northern Territory. We are focused on supporting anyone who has been bereaved or impacted by suicide at any stage in their life, including:

Individuals, families and friends
Witnesses
First Responders
Service Providers
StandBy is accessible seven days a week, providing free face-to face and/or telephone support at a time and place that is best for each individual.

The program offers coordinated evidence-based support and resources (including connections to local services and groups) that is individualised for each person’s unique circumstance. This support is continued for up to two years to ensure those that engage with StandBy are not alone and receive ongoing support.

StandBy is guided by local advisory groups – which includes community stakeholders as well as those with lived experience.

StandBy builds community preparedness and resilience through extensive training to community and professional groups to ensure effectiveness and that duplicated effort is avoided. The program is also ideally placed to offer a settings-based approach, providing group support after a suicide for schools, workplaces and community groups.

Step Out offers a range of programs to meet the needs of eligible service users across the age spectrum.

STEPS Group Australia is a leading not-for-profit working to make a difference in our local communities through our extensive service catalogues. With programs specialising in disability support and NDIS services, education and training, employment solutions, Adult Migrant Education and more, we strive to empower clients and provide real-world outcomes. I provide high level statistical analyses and research design. I can design, implement, collect data, analyse data and evaluate programs and services. I specialise in public health policy, with a focus on gambling, alcohol and smoking.

The Sunrise Health Service Aboriginal Corporation’s main purpose is to improve the health and wellbeing of the people in the region east of Katherine in the Northern Territory using holistic approach.

Surf Life Saving Northern Territory (SLSNT) is a volunteer-based community service organisation regarded as the peak coastal safety body in the NT, which formed in 1983 and incorporated in 1991.

There are three Surf Life Saving Club’s (SLSC) in the Northern Territory, two in Darwin and one in Nhulunbuy.

Swimming Northern Territory is the Peak Sporting Body for the sport of swimming in the Northern Territory. We are all things aquatic, including competitive swimming, specialist swimming programs for groups and extensive school programs that meet National requirements. Being the peak body, we have 7 affiliated clubs throughout the NT, including Alice Springs, Casuarina, Darwin, Katherine, Nhulunbuy, Nightcliff and Palmerston as well as Kununurra, just over the WA border.

For more than 40 years we have been a proud Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation, working with every household in the Alice Springs Town Camps and more than 10,000 Aboriginal people from across Central Australia. We know that culture forms an integral part of an individual’s identity, and embed this in everything we do – most of our staff are Aboriginal and local, our programs are culturally safe and competent, and we are led by Elders from every Town Camp in our region.
