    Our qualified Counsellors work with families,couples and individuals to explore solutions to personal and relationship problems and other challenges. We use evidence based person-centred,therapeutic,solution focused and strengths approaches. Tailored age and stage appropraite sessions are available for children and young people. Parenting can be hard at times – thats why we offer a range of evidence based short courses including ‘Tuning into Kids and Teens’,‘123 Magic and Emotion Coaching’ and ‘Engaging Adolescents’. Individual sessions and follow up support can also be provided. These courses help make sense of challenges and share ways to make parenting easier,more rewarding and less stressful. *We use a sliding scale to set fees. Let us know if you are experiencing financial difficulties or are on a low income. No-one is excluded. Fees will be negotiated at your first appointment.

    Anglicare NT – Resolve Family Dispute Resolution (Mediation)

    Our accredited Family Dispute Resolution practitioners assist separating couples work through issues such as living arrangements for their children and property settlements. Impartial practitioners provide mediation to help both parties reach an agreement. Family Dispute Resolution is a voluntary process. It is non-adversarial,confidential and inexpensive compared to the Family Court system and can produce quicker results. Child-inclusive sessions may be recommended to ensure the voice of children can be heard – these seesions are conducted by specially trained Child Consultants. *We use a sliding scale to set fees.     For the Kids’ helps parents understand what makes co-parenting work and to build skild and their capacity to sustain a cooperative co-parenting arrangement following separation,in the best interest of their children. The program helps parents understand the effects of conflict on children, build positive communication and reduce court action. For the Kids offers: individual counselling for parents; individual counselling for children and For the Kids group education short courses.     We provide breastfeeding information and support to mums and their families from Fowlers Bay to Mount Gambier, Adelaide to Darwin.

    Providing mother-to-mother support for breastfeeding mothers and their families. This page is to provide information on local activities to members and non-members alike.

    The Back on Track Program helps at-risk young people understand the impacts of their anti-social or offending behaviour on:

    • themselves
    • their family
    • their community.

    It’s for 8 to 17 years olds who live in Alice Springs, greater Darwin, Katherine, Nhulunbuy and Tennant Creek.

    They can be referred or the court can sentence them to this program as an alternative to detention.
