Amity provides specialised services relating to alcohol, other drugs and gambling. Amity’s counselling service is for people and/or their family and friends.Â
We understand that people use alcohol, drugs and gambling for a variety of reasons and that these behaviours can have both benefits and harms.
We also understand repeated behaviours may become habits and these habits may in turn become a strategy to cope which is not useful.
From this view, our team aims to understand each person’s unique experience and situation and our qualified counsellors provide non-judgmental, professional and confidential counselling sessions.Â
