The Institute for Aboriginal Development (IAD) is an Aboriginal community-controlled organisation established in 1969 as a cross-cultural adult education and training centre serving all Aboriginal people in Central Australia.

The Jawoyn Association Aboriginal Corporation is a key indigenous organisation in the Northern Territory, dedicated to community development and the economic advancement of the Jawoyn people. With a strong commitment to preserving cultural heritage, the organisation focuses on fostering sustainable business initiatives that benefit both the community and the environment. Jawoyn Association is a not-for-profit, with all revenue directed back at its community members either directly or through economic initiatives for the betterment of the Jawoyn people.

With 270 employees and 60% aboriginal employment, Jawoyn Association works across tourism and hospitality, land management, construction (civil, new builds and R&M), and community development, with a range of business units supporting these fields.

In collaboration with government bodies, non-profits, and private partners, the Jawoyn Association strives to build strong networks that contribute to community development. By emphasising practical solutions for economic growth and maintaining cultural resilience, the organisation plays a crucial role in ensuring a sustainable and prosperous future for the Jawoyn people.

• Barkley hardware / BP service station/ Funeral services / Jajjikari café

• Nyinkka Nyunyu Art Centre
• Manu-Jinakurnta Land management and nursery
• Aged and disability services including home and community care
• Night patrol

Kidsafe NT is the leading non-government, not-for-profit, charity organisation dedicated to the prevention of unintentional childhood accidents, injuries, and deaths in the Territory. We offer:

• Renowned child car restraint hire, fit, check, sales, and advisory service. Our Type 1 Fitters are highly trained and accredited professionals and all funds raised from this service goes back into producing programs and materials for parents and caregivers to create safer environments for Territory kids.
• Fee-for-service workshops and formal accreditation for parents, caregivers, professionals or employed staff who are required to transport children. We also offer customised sessions to meet your needs, we are happy to deliver training specific to your learning outcomes.

This initiative was launched on 30 October 2017, replacing the two existing programs of Humanitarian Settlement Services and Complex Case Support. Melaleuca Australia is proud to have been selected by the Australian Government to deliver the Program throughout the Northern Territory as one of five national Service Providers. The Program’s aim is to help people from refugee or humanitarian backgrounds to settle in Australia by working in conjunction with other settlement and mainstream services. Adopting a needs-based case management approach, the services offered ensure the highest possible level of community integration and interaction for our clients.

Mission Australia’s Disability Employment Services – Disability Management Services (DMS) and Employment Support Service (ESS) helps people with disability, injury or a health condition to find a job, and then we continue this support while they transition to ongoing employment. We also support their employers with training, and assistance to access a range of other supports. These supports can include wage subsidies and financial assistance to help with costs of modifying the workplace or purchasing adaptive technologies, or interpreting services.

Mission Australia’s Transition to Work provides no cost employment services to help employers recruit young employees, while supporting them to enter the workforce. This can include trainees and apprentices. If you have left school early or have had difficulty finding work after school, our Transition to Work service can help you build your skills and confidence and support you into work or education, including apprenticeships or traineeships.
