The Central Australian Community Toy Library Inc (CACTL) is a community based Not for Profit organisation governed by voluntary Board of Management and managed by a Director. 

CACTL operates a toy and equipment lending service for families with children from birth to approximately 6 years of age. Toys are loaned for a three week period, with an option of one renewal (extra 2 weeks).  At the end of that period return your toys and select new toys for the next three week period. 

All families, carers and community groups are welcome to become members and benefit from the variety of stimulating toys and equipment.

The Community Development Program operates from Monday to Friday for job seekers interested in participating in work experience activities . The program consists of two main activities a Men’s and Women’s program . The Men’s activities work experience activities are ; building, repairing , landscaping, road works maintenance, fencing, rubbish tip maintenance, beautification of community and caring for country. The Women activities work experience activities are; admin , Age Care work, School Nutrition , Playgroup & After-school Care, Art & Craft , Resume building, Cert III in Business , health and homemaking activities. Job Seekers are encouraged to see their provider to ensure their interest are written into their job plans.

Coomalie community is made of a vast array of different ages and groups, from the young to the young at heart.

We offer Community Library Services to all our residents and cater to specific needs within that sector.

Our Sporting facilities include Adelaide River Oval, Batchelor Oval, Batchelor Swimming Pool, Rum Jungle Bowls Club. These can be hired for private events, or just for personal recreation purposes.

Corrugated Iron is the Northern Territory’s leading youth arts company playing a crucial role in a region where there is no performing arts tertiary training or major performing arts company.

We engage, train, mentor and employ emerging artists and creative professionals who inspire children and young people to develop their skills and forge pathways in the arts. We inspire the NOW generation of creative leaders, movers and shakers to take the lead in shaping our artistic program to ensure that it is driven by the voices of young people.

Through cross sector partnerships we ensure that barriers to participation are removed and that young people across the Northern Territory have access to creative experiences.

Our artistic program features term-based workshops, performances, special projects and a significant community engagement program delivered in urban, regional and remote communities.

Country Aboriginal Incorporation provides a safe space for empowering cultural identity within our Indigenous communities. Providing specific programs aims to embrace country, culture, and healing with our communities.

Our Youth Healing Program is a steppingstone to allow youth to make better choices and with support and guidance our youth have excelled.

Our men’s only healing program called ‘MnM’ men’s nurturing minds provides a support platform for our men to be supportive of one another and experience cultural healing.

We also provide visual arts programs with our talented elders teaching our new generation on Aboriginal art.

The Cultural Hub & Art Centre is a place where people of Minyerri can come and celebrate their art & craft skills. The members of the art centre are keen to showcase their soap making skills, tea making and candle making. The Gulburn shrub is native to Alawa Country and is used in various products such as the Gulburn tea is sold all over Australia and overseas.
