Our Darwin Clinic, also known as the Knuckey Street Clinic is our oldest clinic, and is a culturally safe service in the heart of Darwin city.
The clinic is managed by an Aboriginal health professional and the team prides itself on providing a range of services. Our team comprises dedicated and skilled professionals from diverse disciplines to improve the overall health of our clients.
We are a part of a community strong in culture that supports family and each other. Social and emotional wellbeing and alcohol and tobacco counsellors assist in keeping our clients strong, and a midwife, nurse family partnership workers and the primary health care team help to make sure kids have a great start in life.
For clients needing more support to manage their care, care coordinators and Indigenous outreach workers can help and a social worker helps staff to provide advice. Darwin Clinic is also the base for our mobile service that provides services to people who are either homeless, or living in town communities. Our clinic staff also provide services to people who live in local aged residential care.
NT Legal Aid Commission also attends the Darwin Clinic to provide legal assistance to our clients every second Tuesday.
