About Manyallaluk

Manyallaluk, also known as Eva Valley, is located approximately 35 kilometres from the Central Arnhem Highway and approximately 125 kilometers from the township of Katherine.

Manyallaluk has a population of approximately 90 people with common languages being Alawa, Kriol, Maiyali and English

Access

By road, driving from Katherine to Manyallaluk takes just over one (1) hour. Heading south, turn onto the Central Arnhem Highway (sign posted as Barunga/Beswick/Nhulunbuy) and drive to the Manyallaluk turn off. Travel for 37km on a dirt road to the Manyallaluk community. During the wet season the dirt road can be closed for a few days due to flooding. Manyallaluk may also be accessed via chartered small aircraft.

Please be advised that Manyallaluk is a closed community; a permit from NLC (Northern Land Council) is required before you visit.
