What is MECSH

MECSH also known as the Beginini Femili Program is a program that supports mums, bubs and their families through pregnancy until bub is 3 years old.

We have MECSH nurses, midwives and social care practitioners.

Eligibility

MECSH is open to all women in the Sunrise Region who are pregnant or have a baby that has been discharged from the hospital less than 8 weeks ago.

What does MECSH do

• Help mums care for themselves
• Help mum to make sure baby grows strong and healthy
• Make sure mum has support from family and other services
• Baby needles/immunisations
• Help with breastfeeding and health eating
• Support with Centrelink, Medicare, Birth certificates, housing and more.
