Out Of Home Care

The Child and Family Contact Service (CFCS) supports children and young people in the care of the CEO of Territory Families to have meaningful and quality contact with their parents and family members. Families are supported to develop parenting skills and a safe environment to help facilitate the return of children into their care. Where reunification is not possible at that time,children and families are provided with contact opportunities that enhance connection to family,culture and community. Referrals are through Territory Families,Housing & Communities.

CREATE Foundation is the national peak consumer body representing the voices of children and young people with an out-of-home care experience (including kinship care, foster care and residential care).

CREATE Connect children and young people to each other, CREATE and their Community to Empower children and young people to build self-confidence, self-esteem, and skills that enable them to have a voice and be heard to Change the care system, in consultation with children and young people, through advocacy to improve policies, practices and services, and increase community awareness

We provide Support Coordination, Disability Support Services, Residential Out of Home Care, SIL, MTA, Respite, Return to Country and Community Access services across the Northern Territory and Nth QLD.
