Alice Springs Youth Accommodation & Support Services (ASYASS) – On Track Services

The On Track Intensive Youth Support Program is a 2-bedroom facility for young men and women between the ages of 16 and 17 years that focuses on transitioning young people to adulthood. An individual air-conditioned room comes with supply of personal hygiene products and fresh linen. Kitchen facilities are shared and participation in the making of daily meals encouraged. Bathroom, laundry and lounge facilities, WIFI and an outdoor area are available. Support is also provided to attend school or some form of work activity.

Each young person is provided holistic case management that focuses on their transition to independence and re-engagement with the wider community by offering:

• Assistance in school attendance and ongoing educational support
• One on one support to young people to assist in developing independent living skills
• Assistance with personal development
• Connection into appropriate health/mental health services.
• Involvement in recreational activities
• Assistance to develop long term goals
• Connection with financial counselling and provides assistance with money management.
