The Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) is the professional representative body of social workers in Australia, with more than 12,000 members. It was formed as a national association in 1946. AASW (NT) currently has 220 members across the Territory and is the smallest of the Associations nine branches. A vibrant community of committees and practice groups support the work of the Association, we cater for the professional needs and interests of our social work members practising in a diverse range of fields, employment and locations.
