Ready For Work – AMEP Services

About:

Are you looking for work? Adult Migrant English Program (AMEP) students may be eligible to take part in the Ready for Work short course.

This course will help you learn:

• • How to write a resume and job application

• • How to find work

• • How to prepare for a job interview

• • The language used in Australian workplaces

• • Workplace health and safety rules

Most importantly, this course includes work experience in a local workplace!

Delivery and duration

• • 20 hour per week

• • 10 weeks

• • Face to face training: 120-160 hours

• • Work experience: 40-80 hours

Eligibility:

This course is for AMEP students who:

• • Are keen to complete 40 hours of work experience

• • Are ready to work or study further

• • Can commit to a full time course

• • Have attended or plan to attend the AMEP
