Creativity abounds at our Nganampa Ngura Mutitjulu-nya Flexible Aged Care facility at Mutitjulu. You may find yourself painting, weaving baskets or perentie (goannas), using raffia or tjumpi grass that is collected from the country around.

We provide transport to the cultural centre, which houses the galleries of Walkatjara and Maruku Arts. A lot of our residents’ artwork is sold through these galleries, which are only a short ride away, and groups of ladies visit frequently to sit and paint and yarn. Wood carving is also facilitated, with branding tools used to blacken and add detail.

Opened in 2015, Nganampa Ngura Mutitjulu-nya has a fresh and welcoming atmosphere, with bright corridors and spacious shared rooms with ensuite bathrooms. Each room has a sliding door on to a private veranda, where you can relax watch the world go by. On Sundays many residents head down to the local church. Our staff will also support visits to Country.
