Australian Regional and Remote Community Services (ARRCS) – Aged Care Homes – Rocky Ridge Services

You’ll hear any number of dialects spoken at our Rocky Ridge Nursing Home in Katherine, with people from across East Arnhem Land and the Northern End of the Tanami Desert calling it home. There are four main language groups, with Kriol as a common form.

The focus here is on what you most enjoy doing, and building on that. Activities are culturally informed and might include an open fire, barbecue nights featuring roo tail or grunterfish when available. You can be outdoors as much as you like, weaving, sewing or just taking it easy listening to your favourite music.

At Rocky Ridge, there are 25 permanent beds, plus two respite beds and a memory support unit. We embrace all cultures and work to support the spiritual and emotional wellbeing of all our residents with respect to their individual beliefs.
