Yalu Aboriginal Corporation – Community and Culture Services

Stronger Community for Children (SCfC) is a place-based community development program that aims to give Yolŋu children and young people the best possible start in life. It does this through safer families and communities, nurturing educational environments, positive participation opportunities and cultural events that help young people to grow up strong, healthy and confident. 

Yalu is proud to be the Facilitating Partner for the SCfC program, delivering cultural educations program in the community. We work with stakeholders and a local community board to distribute funding on behalf of the government to community-based services, to make sure the services use the funding properly.
