The Minyerri School Nutrition Program is funded by NIAA. There are 3 full-time staff employed who prepares fresh nutritional cooked & healthy cold meals for the students each school day. The program prepares, delivers and serve 3 meals per day; breakfast, morning tea and lunch. The average number of children in the program is 180 students. Students from other communities visiting Minyerri are also provided a meal if they attend school and their stay is less than 2 weeks.
Parents are asked to contribute a fee that assist with the food costs and preparation.
Daily fee per child is $5.00 per day – $50 per fortnight.
Parents should contact the School Nutrition Supervisor to check and ensure your child is receiving meals.
