Alice Springs Town Council (ASTC) provides and maintains a comprehensive range of environmental, humanitarian, recreational, cultural services and facilities.

Alice Springs Town Council employs over 200 staff at its Civic Centre, Alice Springs Public Library, Alice Springs Aquatic & Leisure Cen­tre, Region­al Waste Management Facility and Works Depot.

City of Darwin governs essential community services such as waste management, domestic animal management, playgrounds, and recreational facilities, city libraries, and town planning. We work to build a community with second-to-none infrastructure and community services.

Katherine Town Council provides a variety of services to Katherine residence.

Services include waste and animal management, maintenance of roads and infostructure and administration of council facilities.

Litchfield Council is the local government council responsible for planning and delivery of a range of services, including waste and animal management, maintenance of roads and infostructure and administration of council facilities.

Minyerri Municipal services provides rubbish pick up on week days from Monday to Friday in the Minyerri Community to 68 households including businesses and other organisations.

The Municipal service identifies areas where waste management can be improved, eg. reducing the number of plastic bags, plastic bottles and aluminium in the community and ensuring that the Minyerrri rubbish dump is maintained daily.

The Community Services & Engagement department is responsible for the delivery of a range of agency contracts, funded programs, and municipal services across the region. These services are critical to the life cycle and function of community.

These services range from upkeep and maintenance of public spaces, the delivery of antisocial diversion activities, and individual care services to improve quality of life for community residents.

Tiwi Islands Regional Council operates waste management facilities at Wurrumiyanga, Pirlangimpi and Milikapiti. All rate payers contribute to the cost of managing and maintaining these facilities.
