Community access is a fundamental principle of the NDIS, ensuring that individuals with disabilities have equal opportunities to participate meaningfully in all aspects of community life. This includes breaking down barriers, fostering inclusion, and empowering participants to engage in a wide range of experiences that support their personal goals and wellbeing.
At Kentish Community Services, we understand that community access goes beyond simply being present in public spaces. It encompasses building social connections, enjoying recreational and cultural experiences, pursuing learning opportunities, and creating a sense of identity, purpose, and belonging.
