For Indigenous people, Returning to Country is more than just going home – it’s about staying connected to family, community, and culture. At Purple House, we help our dialysis patients be in the right place at the right time, so they can:
Purple House provides personalised support to help patients travel home safely while staying on dialysis.
While Return to Country can be getting people home on dialysis, it can also look like assisting with short term visits between dialysis treatments or providing extra support for patients who need it. Some people have access to a car and need some help with fuel and sometimes we can drive people home or help them to access other transport – it is all about giving people what they need to get home and back safely.
