Variety – the Children’s Charity supports kids and families who are facing many challenges through sickness, disadvantage or living with Special Needs.

Our work allows kids to gain mobility, to get out and about in the community, to communicate, achieve independence and increase their self-esteem. We make sure the kids who miss out, can always join in

Council supports communities through the provision of aged care, home support and disability services.  Services currently available across the programs include:

• Meals
• Domestic assistance
• Personal Care
• Social Support (individual / group)
• Transport

We work to help elders stay safe and strong by offering disability support and enabling access to visit country (home). We look out for opportunities to support elders, helping people to stay at home on communities, providing warm blankets and clothing in the winter. The public has supported our annual blanket appeal generously.

Frail aged people on communities can become ill quickly during the bitterly cold desert winters, and sadly some pass away early because of neglect. We seek out those who may have fallen between the cracks and offer our support. It is vital that we renew the supply of blankets each year because of the harsh conditions.

West Arnhem Regional Council is committed to providing a range of local government services that improve the employment opportunities, health and wellbeing of its residents. The Regional Council is one of the largest employers in the region, with more than 230 employees.

West Arnhem Regional Council’s main focus is on the delivery of its core services. These include waste management, maintaining parks and gardens, and roads.  As well as core services, the council delivers a range of community and commercial services.

Will Care is currently undergoing an audit to become a registered NDIS provider.  The clinical and personal care offered by Will Care will be provided by experienced and caring Support Workers and Registered Nurses. Personal care assistance will include but not limited to :

• support with ADL’s;
• bowel and catheter care;
• assessment and monitoring;
• nutrition/ meal prep;
• medication prompting and administration;
• social support;
• domestic assistance; and
• transport

. Clinical care will provide the treatment of medical conditions including but not limited to;

• wound care
• catheter care
• administration of s8 medications
• tracheostomy management
• ventilation support
• IM /SC injections
• PEG and NG Tube feeding

Work Mates provides long-term and personalised employment coaching to anyone with an NDIS plan. STEPS Work Mates can help people with a disability transition seamlessly from school into work through School Leaver Employment Supports (SLES). We can also provide support for people who have already completed school and have an employment goal in their NDIS plan (Finding and Keeping a Job). No matter where you are in your employment journey, Work Mates can help you every step of the way.
