Remote Health Practice Program (Previously Centre for Remote Health) provides education that underpins remote health practice locally, nationally and internationally, covering the remote context, public health, and application to practice.
It is a scaffolded learning pathway that articulates across the three postgraduate degrees to ensure comprehensive and continuous development of skills and knowledge in remote health.
Our Remote Health Practice Program fosters advanced knowledge and specialised skills to enable the provision of quality care in resource poor settings for underserved populations. By focusing on both the unique challenges and rewarding opportunities in remote health, we prepare graduates to work effectively at the top of their scope of practice, emphasising culturally safe practice, within collaborative, multidisciplinary teams.
