Kalano Community Association – Venndale Rehabilitation Centre
Venndale Rehabilitation Centre is a twelve-week residential rehabilitation program of Kalano Community Association Aboriginal Corporation.
Venndale has been delivering clinical model-based rehabilitation service that is culturally appropriate with 24-hour care to clients. Our holistic case management with one on one sessions as well as group education sessions will support clients in their journey to overcome alcohol & other drugs related harm and the impact on their lives, families, and their communities.
Venndale program includes education groups on relapse prevention, self-esteem, life skills, mental health, legal awareness, cultural activities, fishing, therapeutic activities such as art therapy. Skills for Employment and Education Program is facilitated by Steps Groups Australia at Venndale. Counselling, primary health, financial literacy, diet and fitness programs, and other information sessions such as NO MORE (Family and domestic violence program) are delivered by external agencies

Kalunga Supported Care
KSC’s services include:
• Living and Life Skills – such as assisting with financial management, communication skills and lifestyle mentoring;
• Personal Activities – such as housework, laundry, shopping, personal hygiene, dressing, preparation or supply of meals and medication assistance;
• Community Participation – including supported shopping, medical appointments, sporting and recreational events, social activities, visiting or making new friends, travel, transport, building confidence and social skills;
• Respite – in home and centre-based;
• Group and Centre-based Activities – such as social outings and group and social activities on KSC’s premises;
• Life Stages and Transitions – supporting school leavers and those moving out of home or moving from group to independent living to make the transition on their own terms and in a way that meets their goals and aspirations.
KSC supports clients of all ages (children, adults and seniors) and with any disability (including physical, intellectual, multiple disabilities and mental illness).
Kalunga Supported Care utilises a collaborative, person centred model, that focuses on supporting the specific needs and goals of each person, so that they feel empowered towards their potential, living a life in line with their personal values, personal goals and long-term aspirations.

Katherine Women’s Crisis Centre
Katherine Women’s Crisis Centre (KWCC) is an established and well- known service in Katherine. It provides crisis accommodation and related support services to women and children escaping domestic and family violence across the Katherine region.
The Centre can support up to 25 people as well as education to women around the cycle of violence and its impact on children, as well as living skills and other practical information.
KWCC delivers a Critical Intervention Outreach Service (CIOS) to women that have previously utilised the KWCC accommodation services or who have been referred through the Family Safety Framework. This outreach service provides the women with ongoing support and referral.
KWCC services the following communities in the Northern Territory: Katherine, Mialli Brumby, Geyulkan, Rockhole, Binjari & Werenbun.

Larrakia Nation Aboriginal Corporation (LNAC) is a large, progressive and professional Aboriginal organisation with a dual purpose: It is the representative organisation for the Larrakia people, the traditional owners of Darwin and is also a major service provider for Aboriginal people in the region.
LNAC is a dynamic, membership-based organisation, and a major Aboriginal service delivery and business development organisation in the areas of:
- community services
- homelessness support
- land and sea monitoring
- management and arts, culture and knowledge.
Aged & Disability Support Services
Larrakia Nation Aged Care Service is an approved provider of Aged Care Services for the Commonwealth Department of Health. Our primary focus is to assist our clients in living stronger, living longer. We do this by focusing on working with individuals and their strengths, capacity and goals to enable them to remain living independently and safely in their home.
Tenancy Support
Provides life-skills training for tenants in areas such as budgeting, money & debt management, renters’ rights & responsibilities and household safety to enable them to retain tenancies and maintain healthy places to live.
Return to Country (RTC)
Provides information, referral, proof of identification documents, and return-to-country flights for indigenous people returning to their communities.
The office also finds short-term accommodation for indigenous people who are living in or visiting Darwin.
Health Engagement & Assistance in the Long Grass (HEAL) Program
Provides practical support for homeless and houseless indigenous people in order to improve their health and wellbeing. Programs include Grass Buddies and Arts in the Grass.
Larrakia Assist & Night Patrol
Our Night Patrol service runs three vehicles, seven nights a week, looking after Aboriginal people in Darwin and Palmerston. We provide early intervention to remove people from danger and keep them safe. We resolve disputes using culture and mediation.
Larrakia Outreach & Transport Service
An outreach intervention, prevention and transport service for indigenous people who are homeless, itinerant or living in the long grass. Transport is provided to enable people to attend medical appointments, Centrelink offices, other welfare services and the airstrip for return-to-country flights.
Youth Patrol
Our Youth Patrol is a new initiative funded in Night Patrol. Operating a bus with the same times and contact number as Night Patrol, we take young people home so they get to bed to be ready for school the next day. We work closely with local youth centres to deliver this service and we encourage any young people needing transport home at night to call us on 1800 101 645
Larrakia Rangers
Provide conservation and land management services including erosion control, feral animal & weed control, board walk construction, turtle rescue, fencing, marine surveys and water quality testing.

Laynha services some 30 homeland communities with a population of approximately 1100 Yolngu residents across the region, and approximately 300 regular visitors.
It is a member-based association of the Yolngu, with no statutory or other powers.
