And we are committed to ensuring our communities have access to appropriate services in an equitable and culturally sensitive manner, develop and maintain accountability to its members and funding providers and meet our legal and corporate obligations. We will look to our own community for employment, development and work opportunities, and engage in a dialogue with its communities and members to ensure the direction of the association is in line with community expressed aspirations.

Casa Services Ltd is Central Australia’s premium disability provider with a 40-year history of delivering high quality care to adults with disabilities.

Formed by a group of parents in the 1970s, Casa was welcoming adult tenants with disability into its first group home in 1980 – way ahead of its time and decades before the NDIS.

While retaining the dedicated passion and ethos of its grassroots beginnings, Casa has matured into a large professional NFP provider of high quality support for adults with disabilities with nearly 200 staff and 70 NDIS participants.

It has 18 homes (Supported Independent Living – SIL) with supported-living options including single and shared homes to high-level, complex care.

Casa’s other disability services are also well-regarded and growing. These include day programs of art, cookery, sport and leisure activities, community support, in-home care, and NDIS Plan Management helping participants across Australia to navigate the NDIS.

We pride ourselves on supporting participants to not only fulfil basic daily needs, but to flourish and be fully participating members of their community.

As the oldest, most trusted disability service in Alice Springs – and the only truly local one – our mission is the same as it was in the ’70s: to empower each person in our care to reach their potential with quality, person-centred support based on people’s unique abilities and goals.

DAS Accommodation and Support Services is a division of HPA that provides a wide range of support services to Territorians with disabilities with low to moderate support needs.

We provide a range of skills training and services to encourage individuals to live in the least restrictive environment within the community.

DAS provides this valuable outreach support, on a full-time, part-time basis, to approximately 35 people living independently in the community. These clients are living either in units rented from HPA, NT housing or privately owned dwellings situated in the Darwin and Palmerston regions.

HPA Helping People Achieve provides employment & support services to Territorians with physical & intellectual disabilities in the Darwin & Palmerston areas. Through employment & support, people with disabilities can develop confidence, independence & life skills to lead a fulfilled everyday life in a world where there are no barriers.

Outreach services tailored to individual support needs.

Ausdesigns

Is an industrial sewing business specialising in the manufacture of indigenous print conference bags, promotional bags and a wide range of gift and souvenir products. Ausdesigns provides high-quality screen printing, digital printing and embroidery services. They also supply promotional products, hats, school wear, sportswear, work wear (including HiVis) and corporate wear. Assembly, collating work and confidential document shredding is also undertaken at this factory. Ausdesigns also sell Industrial Rags.

Kokoda Industries

A medium sized workshop manufacturing a range of timber, steel and aluminium products including Parkland furniture, grandstand seating, pallets, lattice, survey pegs, sprinkler stands, army targets and other products as commissioned.

ITEC is a NDIS registered disability support organisation. ITEC assists with Supported Independent Living, Community Access, Short and Medium Term Accommodation, coordination of Support, and Plan Management across all parts of the NT.

KSC’s services include:

• Living and Life Skills – such as assisting with financial management, communication skills and lifestyle mentoring;

• Personal Activities – such as housework, laundry, shopping, personal hygiene, dressing, preparation or supply of meals and medication assistance;

• Community Participation – including supported shopping, medical appointments, sporting and recreational events, social activities, visiting or making new friends, travel, transport, building confidence and social skills;

• Respite – in home and centre-based;

• Group and Centre-based Activities – such as social outings and group and social activities on KSC’s premises;

• Life Stages and Transitions – supporting school leavers and those moving out of home or moving from group to independent living to make the transition on their own terms and in a way that meets their goals and aspirations.

KSC supports clients of all ages (children, adults and seniors) and with any disability (including physical, intellectual, multiple disabilities and mental illness).

Kalunga Supported Care utilises a collaborative, person centred model, that focuses on supporting the specific needs and goals of each person, so that they feel empowered towards their potential, living a life in line with their personal values, personal goals and long-term aspirations.

We provide Support Coordination, Disability Support Services, Residential Out of Home Care, SIL, MTA, Respite, Return to Country and Community Access services across the Northern Territory and Nth QLD.

ShelterMe is a directory of services for people experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness in the Northern Territory. ShelterMe is funded by the Department of Territory Families, Housing and Communities and managed by NT Shelter.

Provision of high quality person centered services to people with severe to profound disability in the Top End of the NT.

The organization provides permanent 24 hour coverage in community based supported accommodation. For existing service users it also provides a brokered social program.
